Microsoft announced that now more than 13 million people use Teams daily and more than 19 million use it weekly. Launched two years ago this week, Microsoft has now passed their main competitor, Slack, in daily active users.
Teams is an integrated set of apps and services designed to transform workplace collaboration, streamline business processes, and protect critical information.
This announcement was accompanied with some new features such as priority notifications that alert recipients of time-sensitive messages and pings them every two minutes until a response is received. Also included are read receipts that display an icon to indicate when a message you sent has been read by the recipient.
