The home page (which Abel Solutions will customize and brand according to the clients’ tastes and values) connects users to the tools and information they need through a series of configurable, promoted links. It also features a message board for corporate announcements and a company-wide shared calendar. The home page can also be modified to highlight certain properties or projects and to link their images to their associated property profile.
From the home page, users can access a file management system called the document library. This application serves as a database to store any information associated with each individual property. All of the documents filed into this repository can be augmented with customizable metadata tags, giving each of the files various categorizations based on any criteria deemed appropriate. Users can then sort through files by organizing them according to their metadata to find groups of documents that share one or more common factors. Employees more inclined to use the search bar will find locating a single file among thousands to be an easy process; SharePoint’s powerful, “Google-like” search function yields returns that include the keyword in their title, content, and/or metadata. Search results are sorted by relevance and can be narrowed by any relevant attributes including document type and document classification.
Also accessible from the home page is the contact management index, a large list of profiles for people associated with properties. These profiles may be filled out with all sorts of contact information and may be used for clients, investors, vendors, or any other people of interest. These profiles are also searchable in the same way as documents. Updating profiles to reflect changes and track activities is as simple as finding the profile.
REALTY|share also improves the reporting process for real estate companies. Users can generate any type of report on properties or projects, pulling data from within the program or from outside sources like Yardi. Because the report dashboard is powered by Microsoft Power BI, it is easy to create intuitive visualizations and relevant figures for viewers to parse through. Whether presenting to investors, executives, or vendors, REALTY|share makes reporting efficient.
System administrators can allow outsiders temporary and/or limited access to those reports, or the underlying data that built them. By granting and revoking varying levels of permissions (to either groups or individuals), interested parties can interact with company data on the company’s terms. Give investors access to K1s, property updates, and other reporting information relevant to their interests with a few clicks.
Forms and workflows keep operations running smoothly by automating certain steps. Creating a new property profile in the database, for instance, will automatically supply accompanying checklists related to certain processes (like due diligence and closing) as relevant. These checklists are generated from customizable templates and are deployed when certain predefined conditions are met. Dedicated project pages can be created by system administrators to focus efforts and hold individuals accountable when working on extended collaborative assignments like construction projects. Furthermore, administrators can create individualized weekly task lists to keep employees on target to meet deadlines and goals.
Finally, this real estate management system is hosted online. Because realtors need access to relevant information in the field as well as the office, our intranet solution is mobile-friendly. REALTY|share was designed to function optimally on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and any other internet-accessible device an agent may use in the field. No longer will realtors have to carry physical copies of lengthy agreements for clients to review and sign — now it can all be accomplished with a few swipes and electronic signatures.
As customizable as its various features are, REALTY|share may not suit every company; some clients have needs so strenuous that this program’s basic capabilities cannot handle them.
