Abel Solutions to Deliver Contract Management Solution based on SharePoint 2010 to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta

Abel Solutions, Atlanta’s leading Microsoft SharePoint solution provider, announced today that they will be developing a new contract management solution for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The solution will be built using Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and Nintex Workflow 2010 and is designed to help Children’s legal department standardize their approach to the more than 150 different agreement types currently in use.
Once deployed, the new contract management solution will take advantage of the workflow capabilities of SharePoint 2010 combined with Nintex Workflow 2010 to create an approval process whereby Children’s representatives can submit requests to the legal department for contract review and approval. The workflow will allow staff to track and monitor their requests throughout the approval process.
In an average month, Children’s legal department receives requests to review more than 50 different agreements. The solution will not only help track the status of these documents but will provide a central repository for approved templates, a clause library and executed contracts.
Children’s had previously launched SharePoint in a pilot mode but had yet to deploy it across their entire organization. Development of the contract management solution will allow them to adopt a new line of business solution as well as upgrade to SharePoint 2010 simultaneously.
