North Fulton-Based Abel Solutions Doubles Staff

Alpharetta, Georgia – June 8, 2010 – Sixteen years ago Cindy and Kevin Abel decided to put family first and began Abel Solutions, a Georgia-based Microsoft Gold Certified Partner specializing in .NET and Microsoft SharePoint solutions. After working for large consulting firms, they opened a small office on Canton Street in Roswell before ultimately moving to their office in Alpharetta two years ago. While work was once just a means to an end, Abel Solutions has allowed them to spend more time with family and have control over their own destiny

In 2008 they saw record increases to $3 million in gross revenues, which represents a 25% increase in revenue over 2007 and a 70% increases in revenue over 2006. But their 2010 hiring spike is a result of new business opportunities formed in 2009 and capitalized on in 2010 when they expect to achieve nearly $5 million in revenues. In the past year when many businesses were making cuts and laying off staff, they went from 13 staff and contractors to more than 30 staff and contractors. Abel Solutions has been able to tailor their market offerings to have exponential growth in North Fulton.

Through their alignment with Microsoft and working with Georgia businesses to implement custom solutions based on the Microsoft SharePoint Server platform, Abel Solutions has found a niche for themselves in these supposed hard times. As Microsoft launches SharePoint 2010, Abel Solutions is on the front line with “Real Business Solutions” to help businesses in North Fulton manage business performance, streamline processes and enable communication.
