Abel Solutions Promotes David Hammond to VP

Abel Solutions, a leading Microsoft SharePoint solution provider, announced today the promotion of David J. Hammond to Vice President of Solutions Delivery. In this new role, Hammond assumes responsibility for management and delivery of all Abel Solutions information worker and application development projects.

“David has provided great leadership and direction as we have built our information worker delivery practice,” stated Kevin Abel, President of Abel Solutions. “We have significant goals for expansion in 2008 and I am confident that David will steer us well as we deliver on these goals.”

Prior to joining Abel Solutions in 2004, Hammond was VP of Operations for LaVista Consulting, an information technology solutions firm focused on the energy industry, and LaVista Resources, a recruiting and staffing organization. He has also served as director of an industry solutions consulting practice with Computer Associates’ Global Professional Services and held a number of senior management positions with start-up technology and successful established consulting companies, including Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).

Hammond is a graduate of Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and Leadership North Fulton.
