Abel Solutions Earns Microsoft Partner Award for SharePoint Marketing Excellence

Microsoft honored Abel Solutions with its third quarter Partner award for Marketing Excellence. The award recognizes partners who constantly seek to improve their processes and practices, sharing their expertise and ideas with others. It also recognizes partners who leverage and build on Microsoft's GTM activities to provide great value, helping customers solve business problems using Microsoft technology.

Abel Solutions created a valuable, business-oriented seminar, "Fulfilling the Promise of Portals: How SharePoint Should Become Integral to the Way You Do Business." The seminar highlighted innovative ways in which companies could achieve the greatest return on their portal investments and was supported by an aggressive marketing plan that leveraged Abel Solutions' increasingly popular SharePoint Tip of the Month emails, drove visitors to a seminar registration site and generated leads.

Within 24 hours of sending out an invitation, over 40 registrants were confirmed for the March 30 seminar held at Microsoft's local Atlanta headquarters. More than 60 people had registered for the seminar when registration was cut off. "So many businesses are unaware of the many powerful ways in which they can capitalize on SharePoint technology to achieve real business productivity results," says Abel Solutions president, Kevin Abel. "The seminar proved to be highly valuable to attendees, as well as to us.
